Notice: Little Choptank Oyster Restoration Project

​​The Maryland Department of the Environment is recommending that the Board of Public Works issue  State Tidal Wetlands License 14-0104 to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for an oyster restoration project in Dorchester County.

The Little Choptank Oyster Restoration project is intended to restore 188 acres of State-designated natural oyster bars at 20 sites within the Little Choptank River over the next ten years.

Meeting: The Board of Public Works will review this request at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. This date is subject to change.
